Thailand’s customs
merchandise exports decline moderated to 5.5% y-o-y in September,
recovering slightly from its 6.7% drop in August. The improvement was driven
by industrial exports, which fell at a slower rate of 1.9% y-o-y, following a
3.2% slip the month before. Meanwhile, agricultural exports worsened after
dropping 9.9% y-o-y, compared -8.0% in August and mitigated some of the
upside.
