Fixed Income Foreign Flows, Dec 16: Outflow pressure subsides
· While
foreign investors continued to withdraw funds from emerging markets in
December, it was a less intense month as total portfolio outflows from equities
and debts narrowed to –USD3.4b from –USD27b in November, the IIF estimates.

A similar tone was felt in Malaysia, as outflow pressure from domestic
debt securities remained but slowed to -MYR5.4b from -MYR19.9b in November.
