Growth of the broader money supply, M3, picked
up to 6.0% y-o-y in June, from +5.7% in May and compared with +6.5% in
April. This was on account of a smaller
decline in external operations but
partly offset by a decline in government operations and marginally slower
growth in the demand for funds by the private sector.
