Today’s trade recap by our trading desk:-
·         The local bond market started the week with decent buying flows into the MGS and GII space from short to the belly of the curve as Ringgit opened stronger touching 3.9850 low due to weak US NFP data on Friday . Yields were traded 2-3 bps lower in the morning session. However, in the afternoon session, profit taking activity saw earlier gains given back as Ringgit rising back to close unchanged from Friday’s closing level. Market players are anticipating the announcement of 5y GII maturing April 2022 with the expected issue size of RM 3.5b later on this week.
