Singapore’s industrial production slipped 0.3% y-o-y in June, from +0.8% the month before. The decline was
driven by sharp falls in pharmaceutical output and transport engineering
activities, which more than offset a 39.1% y-o-y surge in semiconductor
production (+15.7% in May). Excluding biomedical manufacturing, output
gained 2.4% y-o-y in June, reversing from a 2.5% drop the month before.
