· Local bonds market traded sideways today until late afternoon where some buying flows on the 7-15Y benchmarks brought the curve down by 1.5-3.5bps.

Today’s trade recap by our trading desk:-

·         Local bonds market traded sideways today until late afternoon where some buying flows on the 7-15Y benchmarks brought the curve down by 1.5-3.5bps. Traded volume remained paper thin today with most bonds seeing less than RM150mio done apart from the 7Y GII where it saw decent buying interest since morning. MYR halted its longest losing streak in almost a year today to close at 4.0650 levels as many expecting a dovish FOMC with UST yields dropping as well.
