·
Local bonds market traded sideways today until late
afternoon where some buying flows on the 7-15Y benchmarks brought the curve
down by 1.5-3.5bps. Traded volume remained paper thin today with most bonds
seeing less than RM150mio done apart from the 7Y GII where it saw decent
buying interest since morning. MYR halted its longest losing streak in almost
a year today to close at 4.0650 levels as many expecting a dovish FOMC with
UST yields dropping as well.
