The headline inflation rate eased for the fourth
consecutive month in June to 1.6% y-o-y, from +2.0% in May, attributed
to a larger magnitude of decline in cost of transport as fuel prices were
held steady during the month. The core inflation rate, however, sustained
at the slowest pace in 13 months at 2.1% y-o-y in June, indicating
weakening demand.
