The ECB meeting today is expected to be widely watched as
ECB Draghi had said at the previous ECB meeting in Oct that “our
decisions in December will tell you what we are going to do in the coming
months, and so they will define the monetary policy environment for the
coming weeks and the coming months. Weexpect ECB to extend monetary
easing beyond Mar 2017 by about 6 – 9 months, in light of core inflation
still low (last seen at 0.8% y/y) and yet to pick up (well below its 2%
inflation...
