Manufacturing
production in Thailand
plummeted again in June, declining by 8.0% y-o-y,
compared to a 7.6% fall in May and a 7.1% drop in April. The deterioration
was broad based, with weakness detected in the electronics & electricals
(E&E), textile & apparels, food & beverages, and chemicals &
chemical products clusters. Refined petroleum products and vehicle &
parts saw improved outputs and stood out as one of the few bright spots which
helped cushion some of the fall.
