Thailand’s
customs merchandise exports continued to fall for the third successive month,
albeit by a smaller magnitude of 4.5% y-o-y in March,
after declining by 6.1% in February and compared with -3.5% in January. The
decline was worse than the median estimate of -3.5%, indicating the continued
dismal outlook for exports after it contracted for the second consecutive
year in 2014.
