Thailand’s
customs merchandise exports slipped into a decline of 0.9% y-o-y in July,
after expanding by
3.9%
in June and compared with -2.1% in May. This came in way below the median
consensus estimate of +4.2% y-o-y, indicating continued sluggishness in the
Kingdom’s exports despite a more stable political situation since late May.
