Thailand’s manufacturing
production index (MPI) fell 1.6% y-o-y in February,
from a 3.5% drop the month before. The deceleration in contraction was
underpinned by smaller declines in the heavily-weighted electronics &
electricals (E&E) and vehicle & parts clusters. In contrast, growth
of food & beverage production slowed in February, capping some of the
upside.
