Luxembourg's financial centre, recently confirmed as the
Number 1 in the Eurozone by the Global Financial Center Index, boasts a
strong FinTech industry.
In this magazine, we talk to leading FinTech players and
explore the ecosystem available to support this rapidly developing sector.
Technical innovation is also showcased at Luxembourg´s Mudam Museum where
robots will soon interact and guide visitors. Finally, with assets under
management of Luxembourg domiciled funds reporting record breaking growth, we
offer you a unique insight into the latest trends and opportunities in the
Luxembourg fund industry.

FinTech is ramifying into every corner of the financial
industry. Its main actors are not only start-ups who develop new and even
disruptive solutions but also established actors who are pivoting towards
this new segment of the industry.
We lay out the FinTech ecosystem available in Luxembourg and
tell some of the homegrown success stories as well as explain the reasons
behind the strategic choice by some players to opt for Luxembourg as a
base. Together they reflect the can-do attitude and result-orientated
environment available in Luxembourg.

A
trip to Luxembourg´s world class modern art museum will soon get a whole
lot easier, thanks to two robots who will interact and guide visitors. We
meet the award-winning University of Luxembourg scientist, in charge of
creating the "intelligent museum" which will further put
Luxembourg on the map in terms of ICT.
The
CoRobots@Mudam project explores how robots of different kinds and
capabilities can cooperate to enable visitors to benefit from more
personalised visits. The humanoid robots can understand 26 language and
speak three languages, mirroring the multilingualism of Luxembourg.
