FW: Fixed Income Daily Pulse - 15 August 2017

Good Evening,

Today’s trade recap by our trading desk:-

·         A rather quiet day in the local bond market with very little trading activity seen. Slight pullback on the belly of the curve while there was still demand on the front end and the back end of the curve. Yields ended the day mixed as the back end eased 1-3bps while the belly inched up by 1bps on the 7-10y and 5y easing 3bps. A positive thing to note is that market is back to a risk on sentiment after news of North Korea says it will wait “a little more” before taking any further action after threats towards Guam earlier.
