Thailand’s headline
inflation rate eased to 1.5% y-o-y in October,
from +1.8% in September and compared
with
+2.1% in July, the slowest pace in a year and extending its moderating trend
to five consecutive months. Contrary to the moderation in the headline rate, the
core inflation rate remained stable at 1.7% y-o-y in October, matching
the rate in the previous month and compared to +1.8% in the July-August
period.
