Philippines’ merchandise
exports accelerated to 15.7% y-o-y in September, from +10.5% in August
and compared with +12.4% in July. The September export number beat the median
estimate of +11.6% and this was reflected in the pick-up of manufactured
exports and a rebound in both the exports of forest and petroleum products
during the month.
