Manufacturing
production in Thailand
slumped 4.2% y-o-y on a seasonally adjusted basis in October, from a revised
fall of 0.4% in the month before. The acceleration in decline was driven by a
substantial decrease in electronics & electricals (E&E) output and
made worse by a slowdown in refined petroleum production growth. However, a
pickup in factory activities in automobile and furniture clusters helped
cushion some of the downside.
