FW: Fixed Income Daily Pulse - 25 October 2017

Good Evening,

Today’s trade recap by our trading desk:-

·         Global rates rose overnight, with the UST rising above 2.40% for the first time in five months on the back hawk John Taylor appearing to be ahead in the race for Fed Chair coupled with growing expectations for US tax reforms going through. Local markets reacted softer today with slight selling pressure at the belly of the curve. Yields rose 2-5.5 bps across the curve. 30Y MGS auction will be taking place tomorrow with WI quoted wide 5.00-75%. During this period of selling off since the beginning of the week, nothing was traded at the back end of the curve.
