CPI Highest In 16 Months

u  Thailand’s CPI picked up to a 16-month high in May on the back of higher fuel prices;

u  Despite a faster increase, the inflation rate has remained subdued, suggesting that there is no hurry for the BoT to tighten its policy;

u  We expect the central bank to keep its key policy rate stable at 1.5% for the rest of the year.
