On 6 September, we unveiled the winners of PwC's Building Trust Awards 2017 at an Awards Ceremony attended by industry captains and leaders of Malaysia's top public-listed companies and regulatory bodies.

The winning companies demonstrate examples of good trust-building at a strategic level as well as in their business operations. They are also making attempts to build trust with their customers and investors based on this business strategy. Congratulations!

At this year's Awards, Tan Sri Dr. Zeti Akhtar Aziz (Former Governor, Central Bank of Malaysia; current Co-Chair Board of Governors, Asia School of Business) delivered the keynote. She underlined a growing focus on rules and compliance at the detriment of ethical values: "While rules are vital and important, it is the principles behind the rules that are fundamental."
